Lindy Focus-Jazz Dance Camp and NYE Party December 27th-31st, Asheville, NC Welcome, one and all. We've scoured the dance world for the most exciting instructors, performers, musicians, and dj's. Lonestar Championships January 15-17th, 2010, Austin, Texas  Lone Star Championships is a social / party event. While they have multiple workshops and competitions, Lone Star is first a party weekend. There are over 20 hours of social dancing and all of the competitions are social dance competitions - Jack and Jills and Strictlys only. They believe that competitions bring us together to push and inspire each other, as well as bring us together to support and cheer for each other. 3:00pm - 5:00pm Discovery Green, Downtown Houston, 1500 McKinney The latest word from Old School Swing: Everyone's invited to "Swing on by" our next big public performance at the outdoor stage at Discovery Green park in downtown Houston. We will be playing lively original and classic swing tunes in the attempt to have the most fun possible! The area in front of the stage will be reserved for dancing and the call goes out to all swing dancers to attend this magnificent reunion. We will have featured guests, including April Wheat on vocals, and Susana Collins of Lunatango Dance Productions on hand to show us how quality dancing is done. There will be other special guest dancers as well so look out, dancers will be spotted! |

We have a long tradition of hosting a costume party on our regular Sunday around Halloween. This year we'll be celebrating Day of the Dead or El Día de los Muertos this year on Sunday, November 1st. Come dressed in your scariest, silliest, craziest costume and dance the night away. We'll have a contest where you can win fabulous prizes!
